Yooooooooooooo Its blog time.
So a little about myself. My name is Kamal. There you got my bio about me lol. So first topic I want to talk about and Imma keep this one a more lighthearted topic… Them damn chicken sandwiches from Popeye's. I ain't ate it (YET) but what the f**k is in it. I'm thinking its Meth but I could be wrong. S**t boondocks most definitely called this lol. Also, let me put some knowledge in your head… They saved on 23 million in advertisement, let me say that s**t again they SAVED 23 MILLION ON ADVERTISEMENT alone. Now that just goes to show you how us black people can move a f**king market. Let that sink in while your homie that has a black owned business and their s**t is struggling and you eating the f**k out that sandwich and posting these stupid a** memes about the difference between Chick- Fil-A and Popeye's chicken sandwich making Whitey rich as hell. Also to let you know the old owner of Popeyes was Alvin C. Copeland, who passed away in 2008 and now is owned by Restaurant Brands International, which is most likely a committee of nothing but old white males. Look all I'm saying is that I ain't knocking you for eating that delicious meth sandwich lol (Idk if its good remember I haven’t tried it) but just know that black people got more power than we think on how we can move a Market and how we can support one another and make our s**t BOOMMMMMMMMMMM.

If we as black people would understand the power of marketing we would think twice about buying& showcasing a product for free . I used to work for Levi's and they would give employees clothes for little of nothing to wear ., Well that was free advertising at its finest and the company made big money by doing just that .

The author of this piece is absolutely, positively, 100% correct. If we can do that for other brands, we need to be doing the same for our own community, and our own businesses.

We need to think job creater, not, "Employee". Entrepreneur, not wage earner.

I would like to throw a challenge out there, for everyone that has eaten either of the sandwiches, go out and buy an equivalent item from a Black owned, and operated business, then post it (including business address, menu item, price, website, etc.).

Let's turn that 23 million back around, and allow it to recirculate in our communities.

Getting black folks to do anything enmasse is simple. Let it be about food, drink, hair, or partying and we show up. Outside of those issues we're sorry, and we act like we ain't got a dime or the time. Yet our homes are full of products, clothes and cars we buy from the white man. He knows it and we know it, but as long as we can strut in what they advertise as high fashion or must have, we're satisfied. It's our mindset that's the problem. We are molded in the white man's imagine from the top of our head to the bottom of our feet. We need to establish our own identity. Yes, as soon as we come out with something the white man will emulate us, whether it be dread locks, or soul food. But we continue to innovate and create because that's who we are. We are substantial as a people. Together we can do miracles. The first miracle needs to be doing things togeter.
