Black San Diego Business-6
Regulations and red tape can sometimes rip the fun from running a business – regardless of the size of the entity. Just like a large corporation, small businesses risk fines, penalties, and a negative reputation if they do not stick to the necessary rules.
BSD B-6 Membership will allow accountability for BSD, the Consumer, and the Business Owner. The consumer will have peace of mind in knowing, BSD has taken the necessary steps to ensure businesses meet the standard requirements to do business within Black San Diego. Business Owners will have peace of mind in knowing protocols and processes are in place for their success.
BSD B6 Membership consists of 3 Processes:
Part I-BSD Business Registration Process
This is the initial process which ALL Businesses are REQUIRED to register their business! This allows BSD to credential the business as “Certified to do Business” within BSD’s expansive network. Is your business in compliance? Do you have the following 6 basic items:
Fictitious Business Name
Federal Employer Identification
Business Checking account
Business License and Permits
Business Insurance
Seller's Permit (If Applicable)
Part II-BSD Consumer & Business Complaint Process
Responding to BSD complaints is a good business practice and “the right thing to do”. Consumers & Business Owners will be able to File/Submit a complaint. All complaints MUST meet BSD’s Complaint Acceptance Guidelines. (more info can be found on BSD’s website)
Part III-BSD Business Complaint Reinstatement Process
If a BSD Credentialed Business is found “LIABLE” regarding complaints for goods and/or services, the Business MUST go through BSD’s Reinstatement Process.
